Follow the money.  That was my advice way back last spring.  What does the Board owe Shelby?  Did any board members gain financially?  What is the monetary connection among Angie, Shelby, and Pileum?   What is the financial connection between Shelby and the "city leaders"--not the mayor but the long time big players?


Just an aside....anyone still wonder about the wisdom of Anderson forcing a settleman on G and S?

Following the money trail left by a man with 40 years' experience in grant-scamming is probably impossible.

But did anybody notice the timing between SFT's annointment & the contribution that put the "Thames Field House" over the top in its fund raising goal? I think that was basically the price tag on the USM presidency.

let's not forget the sizable contributions (one in each Thames name) to the athletic program that Thames and his sons made back around 1999 - DT gave the hundred or so thousand contribution that she had "earned" to the university.
