Have you received your copy of the colorful "The University of Southern Mississippi Advancement Report 2006"? The long "Report" includes five (5) pages devoted to "The Thames Presidency 2002-2007". This part list Thames' many contributions and ends with: "I want my legacy to be, 'He made a difference.'".

If I recall, the report showed a huge spike in grant funding during the last FY. How much of that was Katrina related? i.e. emergency repair funding, special scholarship assistance, etc.

COST has a new Development Officer who moved over from Foundation. Old officer took a job out of State. Have heard that COEP guy is leaving for a position out of State as well.
