I just mean in the larger scheme of things, it's more important to the university as a whole that Doty has created this situation than we care why he's done it. I'm not affiliated with cob so I don't know all their politics. I just think it's a good opportunity to capture the attention of alumni and supporters who were indifferent to the plight of COAL.

I am not that person, and I do not know you. Veggie refers to a certain mindset.

Are you implying that CoB was insensitive to COAL problems? You seem to really have it in for people in CoB. And this extends to several former posts I passed on.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I do not have it in for any part of USM besides its present leadership. I regret that you got such an impression. Sometimes when we post, things don't come out exactly as intended. I did have one unfortunate encounter with a COB person when I worked there, but that did not affect my perception of a whole college.

The semi-blind thing was temporary this summer. Good as gold now. I had an enlightening lunch with a COB professor, thought you might be he. The COB deal had to do with a misunderstanding about course structure and content when I was manager of Independent Study. Let's let this drop, please and get back to focusing on USM. Hey folks, there are other downtrodden Colleges out there in USM land. Those of us unhappy in the CoEP have watched the debacle first hand. We just have had the voices taken out of us by cetain people close to the Masterless Commander.

OK, I am totally confused and I can see that we are on two totally different
brainwaves. I was only asking about a perceived problem with a CoB person, i.e., what sort of runin you might have had with a CoB faculty member. I will drop this and I will not bother you again.

Wish I could say more, but there is mischief running rampant in that College. Ears, if you are a member of the College - you know what I'm talking about. Be careful out there. Many good people remain as a solid foundation of the College. Don't let slippery cement with an Acme Brick name deter you from the public good.
