"The search for a new president of the University of Southern Mississippi will pass its next milestone early next month when members of the state College Board hold a "listening session" with various campus constituencies to build a profile of a desirable presidential candidate, state Higher Education Commissioner Tom Meredith told the Hattiesburg Kiwanis Club Thursday.
"I'm putting my personal integrity on the line that this will be a professional, first-class search," Meredith said. "(Southern Miss) deserves nothing less."
