I have not checked the board in some time so this may be a repeat thread. In the Summer 2004 copy of Wilson Quarterly on page 58 there is a mention of USM planning a water park financed by bonds. Anybody heard anything about this. The article is in a group of articles on education. Worth a look.

The NYTimes reported this a few months go and then it was promptly denied by Sid Gonsulin (sp?) and Shelby.  Apparently a reporter caught one of them in a weak moment and they let loose their "dreams" for the campus.
