It's good to see some things happening with the AAUP. There is a USM chapter meeting on Tuesday afternoon, as announced on the home page of the site hosting this forum. I've also just received notice of a statewide planning meeting to take place this coming Saturday at Millsaps College.

With a new commissioner at IHL and presidential searches coming one after the other, faculty need the AAUP to be present and vocal both on individual campuses and on the state level.
