KM has no interest in being provost.  Kenbot is running the Gulf Coast Campus and will likely move into the university house that Tim's family is vacating.  Everyone does understand that USMGC is becoming a stand alone profit center?  Did anyone pick up on the other USM press release today?  The community colleges are going to love this.

Yes, but he is only 50 years old and is going to have the opportunity to dramatically grow what is primarily a virtual campus yet not a diploma mill.  As Austin Eagle has pointed out on one of the other Hudson threads, Gogue appears to be a quality chancellor and has the potential to mentor him.  Frankly, I don't think people change very much and I believe the combination of ambition and ethical deficiencies will always haunt him.  Nonetheless, expect Tim to be a better prepared and more serious contender for the top slot in two years.  Despite the fact that I'm glad he's going, he is yet one more casualty of the Thames regime.
