It seems that the mission will be left undone. The signs are apparent on this board, the target sacrificed a VP and a Provost allowing the masses to move towards the warm fuzzy feeling of passivity.
Rumors circulate about registration and a TH, what about those of misdoings? Perhaps these trivial distractions are what we can understand.
PUC is being mourned for its potential demise and replacement with the weekly musings (missed the transition)what happened to the brave souls thrown into the dean of the gnome? Perhaps the glare of the limelight put sparkles in our eyes.
Faculty Senate embracing shelboo and the deans, where did the fire of concentration go? Perhaps co-opted by a ride with a COO.
In times of yore, there would a ballad sung. The mad king in his castle, the serfs in the field, the brave knights who met their matches, an evil sorcerer bent over his ball... Lo, these are not the times of yore, left are we without a ballad. Only a vague hope that some brave soul may pen, a true telling of what has past at "Exit 65". It is the only hope of preserving the tale of he who duped his minions, banished his enemies and sacrificed the innocent. History hath repeated itself and the lesson was unlearned.
Time for a new crusade, another cause, for this one appears now spent.
It's hot. It's raining. We're tired. We're camping/travelling/hibernating. We're back in the den with a book in our face. It's storming too much to turn on the computer.

The name of the award, like the recipient, will be revealed on Sunday evening. This is in keeping with the tradition already established by Mr. Wonderful. However, yes, you are correct.

no bitter,
You seem to believe that only persons who currently work at USM are stakeholders. Do you believe that only current students are stakeholders? How about taxpayers? Are they stakeholders? How about the moms and dads and others who have busted their *** to scrape up enough money to help defray tuition? Are they stakeholders? How about former faculty members who are embarrassed when they discover that colleagues across the nation have learned of the sorry situation at USM? Are they stakeholders? How about the federal agencies which provide grant support for USM's scholarly endeavors? Are they stakeholders? Or is it only people in your category - whatever that is - who are stakeholders?

Apparently trolls have no lives. Not bitter, move on and away.

I'm still working on a degree from USM. Plus I already have 2 degrees from USM. I'm *very* concerned about the way things are being run into the ground at USM...the national reputation of what was once a fine school is diminished.
