Boudreaux, where are you?

Mr. Boudreaux, Cossack is saying that our dear Mlle. de Guerre is a "phantom." I suspect he's just mad because he's not an Honorary Gentleman Caller. Maybe you and ol' T-Fred should pay him a visit??

He probably didn't like Judge Cooley either.

Cossack, humor has its uses. Mlle. almost always has a point to make.

Dear Board Friends,

I was just alerted to this thread by a kind friend. Mlle. de Guerre is travelling, and I am on vacation. One of us will address these concerns at a later date.

In the meantime, M. Boudreaux, I implore you not to take T-Fred to "visit" anyone. Your arrival at a certain location on Jamestown last year has caused enough trouble for one lifetime. (And yes, I bear the blame for that.) Mlle. cannot have the forces of the College of Business focused upon her; one blanches at the very thought.

Good day to you all. A tall, cool drink and a person named Reynaldo await my attention.

Sincerely,

Hermione Angleterre, Social Secretary to Monique de Guerre
From an undisclosed location.

Ya'all shouldn't be troubled by this grumbling.  It's the heat. Those of us who know Mlle. de Guerre are honored by her attentions.  Only last week our Provost, Emma, and I had the pleasure of entertaining Mlle. de Guerre in the parlor of the new Chancellor's mansion here in beautiful D'Lo.  She's a delightful and refined lady.

I'd urge all of you to stop by the D'Lo campus whenever you have occasion to travel northerly on U.S. 49.  The door is always open and we'd be pleased to see you.

Sincerely,
W.J. Johnson. Chancellor
USM at D'Lo

Mlle. de Guerre, you are back, you little cutie. You remind me so much of Brenda Lee the singer.

Didn't Miss Angleterre say that Madamoiselle was travelling? And Brenda Lee? I thought Monique was oldish, blondish, largish and sort of into feathers and champagne.

However, inquiring old ladies want to know more about this "Reynaldo" person.

I had a phone message earlier. Looks like the call came from ...Spain?? It was Miss A. She said, "oh, and tell Mr. Cossack that Mlle. de Guerre does not flit. Good day to you all."

Whatever, you've been told.

She reminds me of Eartha Kitt (the singer who did "C'est si bon").
