Hi all,

I'm going to be back in Hattiesburg next week. Arriving Tuesday night (7/25) and departing the next Monday. I was wondering if the group that used to meet at Javawerks is still meeting regularly and whether I might cadge an invitation to join. It would be nice to see some of my former compatriots in the cause!

In the event that there was any confusion and subtle verbal wrist slapping involved, "Yentas' Kaffee Klastch" would have been redundant.  Yentas' Coffee Clutch, however, captured the intended description.  As I am neither a Yenta nor member of a coffee clutch, I can't invite you but wish you well in catching up with old friends, DJ.

One of my proudest moments...thanks for the memories! A mutual friend of ours told me you had recounted the event several days ago with some noted irony in the safety of students versus tenured faculty. I suppose we all have our little 'legacies.'

Hope to see you while I'm in the burg next week.

Sorry, folks, I never made it to Javawerks. Got balled up in some work activities while I was there. Had a great visit, though, in the burg. Sorry to have missed many of you but short trips have that tendency. Looking forward to that glorious day next May!
