I think that Carter refused to give proper credit to things that the plaintiff was doing that were clearly delineated in the CBA Handbook. Perhaps Cossack can provide more insight.
Could I BESEECH you gentlemen to let this thread return to its original topic, and start a new thread if you want to continue a COB discussion?
Here's the fallacy in your request, LVN: There was NEVER a real topic here. The point from the original poster was to set up a critcism of George Carter. From what is now years of watching these exchanges, I am surprised more people don't see it developing and recognize it for what it is. Posters, even board savvy ones like you, fall for the technique again and again and again. It is really time that they get called out by name for the havoc they wreak.

Wasn't it Frank Glamser who first mentioned Carter by name on this thread? So now Glamser's in cahoots with the "scourge" of the COB? Puh-lease. Or are you saying that Glamser is stupid and has been manipulated? Again, puh-lease.
I was the secretary for AAUP-USM when Frank Glamser was president. Frank Glamser did the honorable thing, and took the packet to the president. He hand-delivered it and I ought to know, since I walked over with him. Considering the allegations, it was the most appropriate thing to do. Unfortunately, the appropriate response never happened.

I think this pretty well sums it up. It was a case of an honorable person dealing with a President without honor, and who was lacking much in the way of judgement and ethics.
