What a loss. Julianna brought much to this university and will be almost impossible to replace. The English department continues to reel under the SFT regime.

Both Juliana and Rhonda will be missed.  Juliana and I came to USM at the same time, as did Jonathan Barron, a fact I've always celebrated.

Can you or you and your collegaues put together a lost of English faculty that have left since the Fatal Year and where they have gone? A collegue mentioned to me that English has loft enough excellent talent to staff a world (or at least national) class department with its losses . . . it would be interesting to actually see the parade of names and where they all went . ..
