So Jane Goodall's solo observations of a single group of apes was inconsequential?

Goodall's solo observation of a single group of apes may or may not be representative of all groups of apes.

As an occasional visitor (and sympathizer) I am surprised at the amount of shrift being afforded wanderer and kiln whoever he/she is.  Must be a harmless springtime distraction.

Don't you think the Jane Goodall case was a little different???  Did she observer one ape for one day and try to generalize about the behavior of all apes?

Jane has been watching those Gombe monkeys for years.  Just like we have been watching these administrative monkeys for the past three.

Where's my CBE and Legion of Honor?!?

It's getting short shrift from me. Nobody ever answered my question about the purpose of the endeavor. (FWIW, everyone probably assumes the whole thing is bogus.)

That's not the point.

It is an important point

I'm not so sure about that, LVN.  Some burly character in a rumpled trenchcoat and fedora has been shadowing me all day.  I think it's likely that all AAUP-USM board contributors are now under  surveillance.  In fact,  I'm quite concerned that Invictus may have been taken hostage.

AE, you know the story "The Ransom of Red Chief" don't you? Anybody took Vict, they'd be bringing him back pretty quick.

I wish somebody would come surveil over here. I've been sick as a dog since Sunday, with the March Croup or whatever it is, and I could put 'em to working making a pot of chicken soup and fetching cups of tea. The cats are of no use whatsoever.
