1. SACS Will Be on Campus April 4-5

 
Attention faculty: SACS will be on campus April 4-5 to assess the
university's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).  PLEASE BE PREPARED: SACS MAY
STOP ANY FACULTY (OR STUDENTS) ON CAMPUS TO CONDUCT IMPROMPTU INTERVIEWS,
TESTING OUR COLLECTIVE CAMPUS AWARENESS OF THE QEP.  To familiarize yourself
with the QEP, please take advantage of any of the following options:

1. Visit our Web site at http://www.usm.edu/qep and pay particular attention
to the "Quality Enhancement Plan" link, which includes the fully
documented plan.  

2. Attend our brown bag presentation on Thursday, March 30, 12:15 p.m. in
International Center 101. QEP will be fully explained here, and you will
have an opportunity to ask any questions at that time.

3. Look for abbreviated information ("FACT" sheets, assessment plans,
locations of new writing and speaking labs) to be distributed via campus mail,
covering some of the highlights of the QEP; please make sure to familiarize
yourself with all QEP information sent to you via campus mail.
