Is this the Jackson that has an accounting practice in town? If so, isn't he close friends with Nicholson?

Loyola NO is having some budgetary crisis related to Katrina. Several colleagues in the NO area say that many NO colleges/universities will not have a freshman class this year and that enrollment is expected to be a shadow of its former level.

He could be getting out while the getting's good.

I'm starting think Rod Posey was forced out as Director. In fact, I'd bet the farm he was.

2. Posey immediately awarded the Morgan Professorship in Accounting.
3. Jackson named Chair of Accounting. Jackson related to Morgan (of Professorship fame. Jackson also related to Anderson, who is also related to Morgan.
4. Jackson, sold as an outsider and new blood, finishes hatchet job on MIS.

Where are all the Joe Morgan lovers from a week or 2 ago?

I've been waiting on that question. Between the Morgans and the Jacksons (both related), is there a member of that family who has not worked at USM? Apparently there needs to be a move to rename the USM School of Accountancy the "Morgan Family School of Accountancy." If you're a Morgan (or relative) and can get a terminal degree in accounting from anywhere, then you're guaranteed a spot on faculty. New slogan: "The Morgan School of Accountancy: Where everyone is named Morgan!" or "The Morgan School of Accountancy: Where remembering your prof's name is a snap!"

truth4usm gave me a real hard time about all this Morgan nepotism a couple of weeks ago. Here's another example of the family ties on USM's campus. Joe Morgan gets a promotion and his cousin gets an unadvertised administrative position within a month?
