I'm logged in, but I'm simultaneously reading an online newspaper and a book (I read the book while waiting for the newspaper pages to load). How's THAT for an exciting Friday night?!

That's pretty wild, Symp. Maybe you should tone it down. Loud page-turning could disturb the neighbors.

By the way, I would like the record to show that I could be doing something more interesting than watching Leno if I wanted to.

Mes amis! It is yet the early hour! There is much still to do before the comfort of our pillow calls us. Moi, I am reading a little novel and having a tiny glass of champagne. No chocolates tonight, as it is Lent and Miss Angleterre has hidden them so well this year. Dervish and Dominique are nearby, and our dear Miss Angleterre has departed at last for her home.

One supposes that one could also do more interesting things, mais non but it seems that since August I have less of the need for excitement. One is happy to be safe and quiet at home, thanks to le bon dieu.
