Pood's wife and Gandy's wife both work for USM. Don't believe Fos' wife does. Not sure about Pierce and Doty.

Hiring spouses is common at many institutions. The worst case I saw was when the chairs of two departments at an unnamed medical school hired each other's wives in administrative positions. One of the wives had a professional degree, however, and the other one was pretty capable. It caused a lot of jokes, as you can imagine.

Don't you wish this was the worst thing we had to worry about?

Doty's wife has a position with the economics education boondoggle.

I think Pood's wife is an accountant or something. Doesn't Gandy's wife teach english?

i believe gandy's wife is a faculty member in the art department.
