I agree that many of the posts on this board are controversial and off limts. We should establish absolute taboos against any discussion of race, capitalism, religion,or student athletes. These topics hold the potential to be offensive to certain segments of our society.Free spirited debate can often deteriorate and this should be avoided at all costs.

I agree absolutely,  and would include gratuitous partisan political comments to your list of off limits topics.  But  how in the heck would you enforce these taboos?  It seems that a full time webmaster would be required.  I don't see any practical way to pull this off.

I believe that Mlle de Guerre is finalizing plans to offer space on the website of The Journal of the American Attack Poodle, a publication in which she is frequently published. The address is www.JAAMP.dog however, I'm confident it's not working yet. These things take time. There are issues, for example, over the large number of photographs of Dervish she wishes to post.

Mlle. would of course be the webmaster if the board were to move, with significant help from some of her HGC's. I don't have to tell you what that means. Mlle. believes deeply in freedom of speech, particularly her own freedom to have the last word.

Good afternoon to you all.

H.A.

It's very easy to belittle our canine associates. Something we should all avoid

Henri, you must be new to the board, or you would surely know about Mlle. de Guerre's faithful canine friend, Dervish, who is a highly trained attack poodle; not the sort of dog one sees every day, and certainly not one to be trifled with. Those of us who read the board regularly remember that Boudreaux and Thibodeaux were encouraged not to bring T-Fred, the white alligator, because Mlle de G could not guarantee T-Fred's safety if he got too close to Dervish. Miss Angleterre, if I recall, was afraid there would be trouble with the wildlife people over it.

If I recall, at one point Mlle. de Guerre believed she had actually published more than a certain recently departed blond vice president, but Miss Angleterre thought it was not sporting to count the articles in JAAMP as it is not exactly peer-reviewed. As if Monique de Guerre has peers.

No one has more respect for dogs than the friends of Mlle. de Guerre!
