In these times of need and times where funding is tight it seems sad that one buffoon's pet project puts the University deeper in the hole.  This is not only a public image problem but a financial problem.  Goes to show you what a wanna be politician/lobbyist can do when they have no sense or know how.  The sad part is when they screw things up they blame others.  Who's signature was on the contract and who authorized it?  Those monies paid out so far by the University to save face from the inept could have been utilized elsewhere.  Maybe raises or somewhere.  Favors cost money!  This impacts way too much on the community and the Uninversity.

Money for buildings and money for salaries and operating costs come out of different pots. Seems crazy to me too, but building money won't raise salaries.

True, but it does not matter.  It was still A. Dvorak's pet project and it is screwed up and now she wants to blame others as she did when she was the so call VP of Research and Economic Development.  I never could understand her credentials as being a VP of "Research."  Where did she get her science degree from? UK!

I understand that "blaming others" is the reason a communications director left the ADP.

I beleive you are right Googler.  I also understand that many more have left due to A. Dvorak's lack of qaulifications and experience but only to hire for favor.

Speaking of communications directors during the Glamser and Stringer debacle Shelby hired A. Dvorak's old communications director from Jackson as a consultant to L. Mader to help her do her job after he gave her a raise and to help Shelby save face.  I understand from a foundation employee he was on a monthly retainer and paid from foundation funds so it could not be traced.  I also understood that the emplyment lasted for 6 months and that the salary was really extravagant.  Incest is it?

News from the outside world!  This weekend seemed to produce one small piece of information.  Apparently A. Dvorak is really stomping the ground blaming Bobby Chain for the failures of the Trent Lott Center  I really do not know him just by sight and from what I have heard and I really do not understand his roll in the project except from what I have read in the paper.  However,  the A. Dvorak is on a rampage of pointing fingers.

I agree that it appears to be high school posters.  I just hope it is a jokester and not some kid trying to get revenge because they felt their parent was harmed by the goings on around town.
