Gee. What an efficient use of time for new faculty who are using their DE start ups to develop classes, conduct research, and write grants.

Not a problem, Mitch. They'll be too busy teaching extra classes with no notice -- they won't have time to go to the library, much less do research.

I dont know why they dont just make CM the Provost, that way she won't have to add lines to anything

That professional courtesy was taken away from all CISE members as soon as DT took charge in 1998. Apparently one faculty member (now deceased) "abused" it so all were cut off unless they were in the DT's good graces.
