Excellent point.

Further, who would hire him for anything? Perhaps we need to try to build an incentive package for a school to take him.

our Deans, with their demonstrated total lack of spine in the face of a tyrant, are not marketable. Not many places are looking for individuals who support toadyism over faculty input and best interests.

There is plenty of room for scorn for some of the associate deans, too. Take the one in the CoB, please.

The associate dean in Greene Hall fights for faculty, not for the president. Jusk ask around. And, he fights Doty and will continue to do so. Isn't that what you want?
