We are about to begin our first full semester post-Katrina. Of course some students will still claim Katrina-related complications (justifiably) while others will use the Katrina crutch to their advantage (again).

Is it time to tighten the reigns on our student body? Should we make a move toward a pre-Katrina existence or should we continue to allow carte blanche for any excuse that is remotely Katrina-related?
