Ya know, that's an interesting thought. How come Shebby doesn't start his own company and leave us alone? He could pay himself whatever he wanted to, hire anybody he wanted to, not be bothered with pesky SACS, NCATE, etc. and so on. Plus he could draw his USM pension. The benefits seem endless. Wonder why he hasn't done it?

It may be because USM supplies him space and cheap labor. In the future the "commercialization park" will supply "businesses" with bulidings built with public (pork) funds for their labs.
