I compared my medical cost now (Medicare A&B + the state medical plan as my Medicare supplement with prescriptions) to my cost next year (Medicare A&B + Medicare D + the state plan as my supplement without prescriptions). I will be saving almost $900/year. Of course things will change as my prescriptions increase, but so far things look good.
