Today, the City of Long Beach is opening all closed sections of the city. Therefore, in order to protect life and property, the University is immediately going to limit access to its Long Beach campus and lock down all of the buildings. Please do not attempt to access the campus or buildings; it is not safe.

So Long Beach is opening up and we're closing down. But when Long Beach was unsafe, we were open. Now Long Beach is safe, and we're not.
That Grimes is a smart man...wish I could think like him.

I'm a little confused by your comment. What do you mean when Long Beach was unsafe, we were open?
Looks pretty clear to me. The City of Long Beach has now opened all areas to the public. For this reason, USM is going to restrict access to the Gulf Park Campus to keep folks from going in there & getting hurt. Makes sense to me.

That's what I thought too. People need to focus on real stuff, not on every little thing these guys say. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
