Is anyone keeping up with the news out of the U. of Virginia?  The rector (chair) of the Board of Visitors (trustees) has abruptly fired the UVa president of less than 2 years for lack of "strategic dynamism."  The situation sounds strangely familiar.  The Washington Post and the Chronicle of Higher Educaiton have some good articles on this situation.
