This was the front page headline in sports (in HA) on Friday.  With Rashad Carruth's departure, Larry Eustachy's first recruiting class at USM -- a rather large one by CBB standards -- is already an empty shell.  Looking at the current roster on paper, you wouldn't know LE has already coached a year at USM.  For those who say give him time, scratch the first year, it was a waste.

By their comments in the HA, it appears that Carruth has substantially more class than his coach.

could it be interpreted by the coaches comments that Carruth was basically a no talent player? the only reason the player had value to team was "leadership"

With some coaches, you get what you pay for. With Larry Eustachy, you get about 1/1,000,000th of what you pay for.

The Eustachy Disaster Train takes off on Year 2 this Friday/Saturday as practice can begin.  Look for more strange things as Halloween approaches.  Joy Lee McNelis will begin soon too.  She's about as freakish as LE is.
