Not only are there new officers, but I heard that the Hattiesburg has acquired a full fledged member of the Coast Eric Luce. Apparently Luce has come up here (whether he knows it or not) to save the CIS 313 classes and commute back and forth to the Coast when it suits Herr Chairvoman Dana Thames. Word is that he's sharing an office (even though there's plenty of office space in CISE) with someone who is on sabbatical this semester. What's going on?

Hear Mitch Berman is the new AAUP Prez. Don't know about the rest - I was too bowled over by Eric's situation.

Who is Mark Klinedinst? Is he a Coast faculty member?

Mark is Professor of Economics and former chair of that department. He is a Hattiesburg campus faculty member.

It is interesting to note that they are all former or current USM administrators, and strong administrators at that.
