Originally posted separately, but apparently was deleted...interesting that the "what's wrong with barbour and bush" post was not deleted. No liberal bias here.... Clinton had a study which showed the NO levees needed repair years before his administration ended...why didn't he IMMEDIATELY commit funds to fix them? Then this flooding could have been avoided. __________________

Link Sausage, You continue to ignore facts. Bush was ready to move. Blanco (gov of LA) said wait. This is according to the mayor of NO. Bush's first visit to the region was coordinated with the governors on their timetable so as not to disrupt relief efforts. The blame lies with local leaders, not national leaders. Local leaders had no plan. __________________
