The USNWR listing (2006) shows USM to have a $2.3 million endowment.  I am told they use a system that cuts to the core and looks at actual cash instead of in-kind and other stuff.


This number is abyssmal.  By contrast, Louisville (another Tier IV) reports something like a $500 million one.

Read the thread started several days ago by Austin Eagle concerning the USM endowment. I'll try to find it for you.
