The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally kill themselves in really stupid ways. Of necessity, this honor is generally bestowed posthumously.

Too funny (and sad). I had to send the one about the guys in the bass boat to my ex, who did a lot of SAR in the Coast Guard. (It's in the honorable mentions)

I remember the very first post in which you mentioned the ex.  It was in the context of Judge Cooley's wife not being a bimbo.  SJ's comment about it being unfair that people assume an intimacy with consistent posters that is not reciprocated by those who post under multiple names hit home.  Don't know yet how to deal with it but I'm at least feeling guilty.
