A very Black Friday indeed for our colleagues at USM. Rumors are that more than 100 faculty terminated. This does not seem likely with today's reported numbers.

A list of faculty members supposedly receiving termination letters, has been posted at
http://www.usmnews.net/

I know, I know... but if true, they might want to know it's gone "public." Or, if NOT true, they might want to know it's gone public!

The real list of programs cut was released this morning. There was also mention of furloughs.
