We could be the Golden Armadillos, and the ST could retire as Prez and take over as mascot. Get him a gold jumpsuit with a tail, and he could still "perform" at games.

NB, do I usually call myself "Late nite Lil" or is it "Late night Lil" -- obviously it's too late if a person can't remember her own name.

Uhh, Emma, I believe it was Gary P. Nunn who penned the lyrics to which you refer ("I want to go home with the Armadillo, good country music from Amarillo and Abilene"  AE





Ole Jerry Jeff did write another song that's now identified with the dynamic leadership of the Mississippi IHL.  Perhaps you've heard it..."Pi$$n' In The Wind"
