Word at EagleTalk is that the suspensions involve a bar fight at an establishment that has been placed off limits to football players. From what I gather, two players were involved in the fight (possibly a DUI afterwards) & two others quit because their friends were "released" from the team.
The two players that were suspended for the first game may be an entirely separate matter. I haven't sorted that part of the story out yet.

Well, as long as the other two quit for a good reason!! I mean....after all...their friends were dismissed for a bar fight and a DUI...who wouldn't quit in protest?!?!
