Thames shouted at the student on the coast because the student wanted to know why he left the office of Exec VP some 20 years ago (yeah, I know we all know, but she wanted him to tell the story). In any case, his performance promted the SH to write an editorial: "USM does NOT need a president who goes snap, crackle and pop!"  How soon they forget.

BTW, have you guys thought about NOT having Thames' pic in the dome after his departure? Or, even better, REMOVE his name from the Polymer Building!

Good luck guys, Two more years, but you have fought a brave battle and there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

For those of us who weren't there, can anyone describe in greater detail exactly how Shelby responded to the student?  What precisely did he say?

I think taking Thames' name off the Polymer Building would be highly appropriate.

I had SFT shout at me more than once. The only way he knows how to "manage" is through intimidation. That, combined with his vengeful spirit, is deadly. Fortunately, many brave people have not been intimidated. Heroes and heroines all.
