Doubt it. Where is economic development to be housed now that Butler has returned to the faculty, Malone is returning to Hattiesburg and the workforce development department is slotted to get a PhD program independent from and separately named from the IDV PhD? My wager is that they somehow resurface together in the Trent Lott Center.
An MSU takeover would be a relief frankly. What's the downside other than some unhappy sports fans and a RIF'd administrative team?
