On Saturday, June 18, 2005, Allison Gilden Spenser, daughter of Drs. John and Ellen Spenser of Biloxi, wed Baldwin Scot Michel of Boulder, Colorado. The large ceremony, which began at 5:30 pm, was held in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi. The bride wore a strapless, floor-length original gown desgined by Vera Wang. Details included hand beading around the bodice, with an empire waistline. The bridesmaids wore various styles of bridesmaids dresses, all in burgandy. The church windows were decorated with magnolia leaves and antique silver candle sticks. The alter was adorned with Boston ferns and pink and green caladiums. The bridesmaids and the bride carried simple, yet elegant, tulips that were hand-tied with burgandy organza. All floral decorations were arranged by Roy Klumb of Gulfport. After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in San Diego, California.
