I got my hands on a memo from the Dome that was sent to administrators in the CoB. Toy McLaughlin has been named to the USM faculty to teach investing in the "traveling road show MBA" that Malone is working up. The appointment apparently fills a vacancy from the Gulf Park campus that was unable to be filled this year. Toy will also apparently be hired with tenure by Thames, circumventing the CoB faculty and administration in the process.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide that -- I only saw it and couldn't copy it for scanning and posting. Also, this was not via Doty or Niroomand. It was via another administrator who picked it up while at the Dome on other business.

Too bad this post didn't make it into the satire H.A. article "Thames, Faculty Debate in Council Meeting by Scot Jameson, Clarion-Ledger Staff " it has all of the right stuff.
