Heard this also. The HA apology was a stipulation to this offer. IHL will sign off on his appointment.

I'm sure everyone will want to see confirmation on this.

If it's true, the Faculty Senate leadership will very soon regret not playing hardball with McLaughlin... and with Malone.

But then... how stupid can Thames get?

So, let me get this straight:

Thames states that all new hires must have relevant industry experience.

CoBers feel that Doty won't last 2 years as dean.

Toy is hired by Thames to join faculty.

Question: Could Toy be the next CoB dean???

Unfortunately, I cannot provide that -- I only saw it and couldn't copy it for scanning and posting. Also, this was not via Doty or Niroomand. It was via another administrator who picked it up while at the Dome on other business.

Toy's being anything after his statement will be the most disgusting thing that has happened to USM since the G/S affair.
