The editor of the Cox-Purvis Report graduated in May and will begin a new job this week. Her associate editor was being groomed to step up but will also step down this week to take a leadership role in her sorority. So, a brand new editor comes on board this week. We wish him the best.
We (the old editorial team) will visit the board as individuals from time to time.

Will anyone be assigned to checking facts from here on out?
Can't wait to see the next pack of half truths and biased reports.

We explained our position on what you are referring to. Go back to the "baseball, baseball.." thread and you will see where Kudzu King said "never" "ever" had USM gone 2 and out in a regional. In retrospect, we should have included the two words in quotes, but failed to do so.
You yourself understand the slant to our reports, and how disclosing the info about the 1991 regional would further "our cause" (my quotes). Thus, to not state the 1991 case is "incentive incompatible" with the CPR's mission under our editorship --- that is, unless we were up to something else secondarily (as I pointed out before and here).
We had alot of fun with "info/correction" and "Kudzu King." The best time was the night the former kept throwing up bad statements about attendance in baseball, and another poster kept correcting them. We just sat back at watched. Then, someone else watching posted: "Look, the socratic method at work". That was classic!
They never figured out our our bias. They said we were for State.
I just got a grad degree from USM, with undergrad from Ole Miss. My fiancee is a law student in Oxford. The assoc. editor is an undergrad at USM now. Her boyfriend is a student at Ole Miss (she is headed up for the Super Regional this weekend). This should help them.

Thanks for trying to help OE, but I know this won't end here. Let me just say, since I wrote the report on USM's baseball regional performance that's in question, that seeker is correct in pointing out that our report mistakenly failed to indicate that USM went Oh-for-2 in the 1991 regional (see seeker's correction to our error).
Thus, our biased sports report was derelict in failing to indicate more of USM's sports inadequacies. I can only assume that in helping us this way that seeker shares our sentiments, as well as those our recent poll about the average USM student (see poll).
Once again, I am sorry for the omission of the previous 2-and-out scenario from the past.
The new editor is now online and will take over all reports at any time now. Thank you.

No actually, I stand for telling the truth, I hope that is a concept that you will learn to apply as you mature. I am glad you can at least admit in writing (albeit on your way out the door) that your only purpose here was to attack and put down Southern Miss athletics. I understand that you probably have some sort of personnal short comings, that's the case for most when you can only attack and lash out at others. I hope you come to accept yourself and your faults soon, because before long you will be in the real world and they will slap you in the face every day.
