Suggestion to Web Master
Permalink Closed

Dear Web Master (whoever you are):

First of all, many thanks for maintaining this board!  In the coming-out party, everyone will need to shake your hand (while being careful not to damage your typing fingers).

Secondly, it occurs to me that in order to keep more topics on the first page for a longer time, it might be a good idea to expand the number of topics visible on each page.  I think this can easily be done by making an adjustment on the activeboard editing page.  We may want to bump the number of visible topics up to around 50 (I think the top limit is 100).

Thanks for considering this suggestion.

And a hearty thank-you from me, too, dear WM. What would we do without you?

A suggestion for posters

I thank you too, webmaster/webmistress. USM Sympathizer's idea would make for easier reading.

I have a suggestion for posters. If a poster wants to change the topic of a thread, it would be helpful if the poster started an entirely new thread instead of beginning the new topic in mid-stream of an established thread. Such a practice would be to the advantage of the old thread and the new thread. And it would sure make it easier to find an old post we were searching for instead of having to scroll through several threads to find it.
