Very few of the scholars were able to break away from their research to vote in the Neanderthal primary. Mayor Dupree is solid with the faculty at 97%,while a despondent Rowell garners a timid 3%.
Once again you ignore the fact that a substantial number of faculty DO NOT LIVE IN HATTIESBURG. Therefore your projections of who "the faculty" favor are meaningless.

With all 14 precincts reporting, Rowell defeated state Rep. Lee Jarrell Davis 2,419, or 62 percent, to 1,480, or 38 percent, according to unofficial returns.
