Today's Independent has the article: "Thames Future is Still Dangling"
Excerpt:
“Commissioner Richard Crofts made his report to the College Board on the status of the President of the University of Southern Mississippi this week, members of the Board spent more than three hours in spirited discussion, and they walked away from the meeting without a decision.
In effect, the College Board, determined to avoid the messy departure of former President Dr. Horace Fleming, left Thames dangling, just as they did Dr. Fleming.”
Interesting how they used titles of “Commissioner” and “Dr.” for Crofts and Fleming, but not for “Word Class” SFT. Hmmm, seems like they are knocking both SFT and the IHL.
I hope somebody is reading the Independent on a regular basis. In the past t has contained some good articles pertaining to USM. I'd like to know how frequently and when it is published.
