Has anybody noticed that the most outspoken boosters of the current USM administration are State and Ole Miss boosters? I believe Roy Klumb and Scott Ross are big Bulldog boosers, while Stacy Davidson is said to be in regular attendance at Rebel football games. Is this a case of "Big Two Hegemony" or is there another reason? What gives?

This is a component of the "conspiracy theory." Long before this board & it's predecessor existed, the folks on EagleTalk were hashing this around.

Former IHL member, Carl Nicholson, is also a die-hard bullie. He was (and is) one of Shelby's main supporters. Legend has it that on the night of Shelby's a(nn/pp)ointment as president, Nicholson reportedly said, "We fixed USM this time." I believe he meant "fixed" in the veterinary sense.
