At the Faculty Senate meeting in Long Beach today there were cell phone calls taken during the meeting from reporters at both the Hattiesburg American and the Clarion Ledger. Reporters talked to such people as Amy Young, Stephen Judd, and David Beckett, and statements were given. I am wondering what the reason was for all of this activity if Klumb stated in Jackson that nothing was to be disclosed of the meeting in Jackson today. It makes me wonder if the reporters making these phone calls know more than they are letting on? Anyone with word of mouth care to tell?
I wish I could report that those cell phone calls actually were indicative of some secret knowlege but . . . No secrets . . . they just wanted some responses to the "nothing" that was going on.
