He got his a$$ kicked by the results I saw. I guess he won't be in a position to make sure Gulfport is a "straight town" anymore since he gave up his City Council seat to get trounced in a mayoral primary.
Hewes has many more flaws than simply supporting SFT. I think this is the start of something big for the forces of good. The Hattiesburg Mayor's race is next. Solidify that and then start on others.
