IHL Commissioner - Dr. Bounds?

Could state Superintendent of Education Hank Bounds be the next commissioner of higher education?

All signs point to yes at this point. We'll find out for sure at 3 p.m....

...I've been told repeatedly by board members that they HAVE NOT voted yet (which they must indicate in board minutes, in accordance with the state's open meetings law).

That's why I can't report anything as being official yet.

As I said before, I'll Twitter the announcement as it happens. Also will be blogging from the IHL headquarters in about an hour.
