letter from community coming....

EagleTalkers are drafting a letter in support of Toy McLaughlin, SFT et al that will be signed by members of their board and the business community.  It is to be sent to the HA.

When the general public sees the letter and its signatories, what side do you think they'll take?  I think I know.  Good luck, again, faculty.

Such a letter will only make easier to identify who the enemies of higher education are in this area.  I welcome it.

I would like to know how many bidness people on Doty's own advisory council have taken public positions that are anti-faculty.  It's astonishing.  I bet they even work behind the scenes against Doty --- they have to, he opposes SFT at every turn.

Responsible business people are actually going to sign a letter of support for McLaughlin? Please --

On second thought, maybe it's not such a bad thing. This way people who missed his lovely remark the first time will have another opportunity to hear about it. Keep it stirred up, boys.

And they're not the only ones writing letters. Stay tuned.

There appears to be some truth to this.  There is a thread on ET concerning this idea.

This is great news!  I have a lot to say and the 250-word limit prevents me from getting it all out. This is an opportunity to rebut and send more information to the public.  We will also see who those "outside stake holders" are.  I think I will call the H.A. and ask that this letter be put on the fast tract and published ASAP.

I wonder how long it will take all of them with their collective brain cell to write such a letter?

I'll believe it when I see it.

Truth

Truth, I assumed it would be written in the dome and sent around for the signatures.  H*ll if it is electronic all SFT needs to do is call and tell the people whose names he put on the e-mail, if that is even necessary.
