"Lacrosse University is a member of the Mississippi Better Business Bureau."

Now there's an idea. If USM joins the Better Business Bureau maybe it won't need SACS.

Try ignorance...

Better Business Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Agencies, previously unheard of accrediting agencies, students as customers...that couldn't happen here...

"The other requirement is that the school be accredited, but Abernethy said there are no criteria for what agency must accredit them."

Oh yeah...

Does this mean that the Best Online Gratuitous University in the South™ needs to register with the Better Business Bureau? I mean, it is kinda antithetical to our position of not running our business like a business (or a university, for that matter)...

BOGUS is a pure-play Internet diploma "mill."

Speaking of which, our board of directors has decided to award yet another Honorary "MBA" Degree to our troll du jour, Kudzu King.
