I heard the same thing today. If true, then within a year of the hearings we have gotten rid of Hanbury, 2 Dvoraks, and Mader! Not too shabby!

well, I may just turn blue and fall over. i'm getting word that this may actually turn out to be true. This is be a first - something on this board turns out to be true.

Excuse me? Any number of items have "broken" on this board. It all depends on the source. You have to evaluate the information critically.

BTW I also got a phone call from a very reliable source who thinks it's true. Good news all around, unless you wanted to work at Wesley.

I'm going to respectfully suspend judgement on that. It is possible, even likely, that LSM will conform to the style of her superiors.

My concern is not so much what she will do in her next job, as what her replacement will do at USM. That may be the bellwether question.

Well, LSM is Methodist and she worked at Baptist before her current stint of working for the

. She has an ecumenical background, of sorts.

Btw, how much do you know about the Foundation funds being moved? Think you mentioned Morgan Stanley the other day, I heard a brokerage firm in New Orleans. I think this is may turn out to be the next controversial issue, or as some have dubbed it the "next stupid thing" but I would love to hear your take.

Hooray! Who among the original henchcrew is left? A year ago we were waiting with anxiety to learn the outcome of the hearings (I remember that distinctly); now most of the people who tormented FS & GS are gone, gone, gone. What a difference a year makes! Can't wait for Shelby to make his exit, too.

My only fear now is that Shelby will go out and hire a PR person who is actually competent and effective. Given his track record, however, I guess I don't have to worry too much.

Remember Malone, telling everyone that both of them would be in jail before the month of April was out. At least hope his wings have sort of been clipped.
